THE YEAR OF THE WITCH CONSISTS OF THIRTEEN FULL MOONS (OR ESBATS) IN EIGHT SOLAR SEASONS. THE EQUINOXES AND SOLSTICES ARE THE QUARTER DAYS, WHILE THE SEASONS BETWEEN CALLED THE CROSS-QUARTER DAYS.

Cancer- Mead

Leo- Wort

Virgo- Barley

Libra- Blood or Wine

Scorpio- Snow

Sagittarius- Oak

Capricorn- Wolf

Aquarius- Storm

Pisces- Chaste

The thirteenth full moon in a year is called "The Blue Moon."

Kalimites in the Southern Hemisphere merely need to reverse the order of the Solar Festivals. Members nearer the Poles, i.e., above or near the Arctic Circle, should adjust their Festivals to the native peoples of their birth-lands, as much as is possible.
