THE POTEAU MITAN MEDITATION

(also called The Totem Pole Meditation)

The Meditation for The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

One of your American ancestors, Abraham Lincoln, once said: "It's not the years in your life, it's the life in your years." The same thing applies to Witchcraft, Meditation and Magic, especially as practiced by the Kalidas of the Kalimite sect. This is why we hold most blood sacrifice in such low regard, especially human sacrifice; excepting food animal sacrifice with minimal distress to the food animal. But the Kalimite does not need the death of an a living thing to energize our magic: Human emotions, offerings for the benefit of living things or random and unrewarded acts of random kindness all empower our Voodoo much better than any causing of needless bloodshed and suffering ever will. Yes, you can get magic power from innocent blood and pain; but the payment you'll have to pay, even if you die (even if you kill yourself), will be THREE TIMES as bad! We Kalimites prefer to pay as we go and to make minimal intrusions on other people's karma.

One of the most powerful, ancient ways to raise magical power is to raise the Serpent Power of the kundalini, the human power that lurks, coiled, at the spine of every human. Ritual magic, especially native dance and Witchcraft, raise the kundalini, as do excitement, exhilaration and artistic inspiration---or any other inspiration, for that matter.
